The counter argument to 'Saipan only gets RNG bombers with AS loadout' is that the Saipan gets tier 9 aircraft, bombs, and 9 or 12 tier 9 fighters at tier 7, while the Graf Zeppelin's fighters would struggle at tier 7. However so does Saipan using the Air Superiority loadout, and I don't see people complaining about Saipan's damage potential with that load out. Now yes you only get RNG bombers, which is sub optimal. The Graf has an extra bomber squad than Enterprise and only 3 less bombers than Lexington. The AP bombs deal more damage than Enterprise by a 400 (8,000 for Enterprise and 8,400 for Graf). Starting with the HE bombs, you have more alpha per bomb than Lexington (11,100 on Graf to 10,800 on Lexi) with a smaller aim circle rather than the larger ellipse Lexington gets. So now comes along the Graf Zeppelin, and they all say she sucks.
They concluded that Enterprise was underpowered or balanced, the Big E is currently the best performing T8 carrier on NA server.
They claimed Kaga was over powered, which is both right and wrong as a bad player will still suck in Kaga. Now I do trust a good majority of the community contributors however I do take their opinions with a pinch of salt when it comes to the aircraft carrier. Same with Implacable, which is probably the worst tier 8 CV in the game so far.So as I am sure almost everyone knows Graf Zeppelin has come out. You're not going to see Saipan either, as Kaga can do everything she can do better, with fewer drawbacks. For those that don't have Enterprise there's Kaga and Lexington, where you have 3 types of aircraft that are all useful. For those that have her there's Enterprise. You're not going to see competitive players run either of them as there's better options. If you load her up as a Meme-Zeppelin, she's fun, pretty much useless as a CV, and a detriment to the team. They just aren't very useful as dive bombers. Her Dive bombers are useful as throw away scouts and fighter droppers. The rockets are a bit meh for the job, being a hybrid between an HVAR and a Tiny Tim. Graf Zeppelin is far more flexible, her torp bombers are fast, she drops 3 at a time, and her rocket planes are slow, with is good for DD hunting. That's about all she's got going for her.
Indominable is boring, and the least flexible of the CV's, All her planes are both fast and tough, her rocket planes aren't very good for hunting DD's, and she burns things.
